Elizabeth Walis is Vice President of Programs. She has over 15 years’ experience working to advance access to healthcare and food security in the developing world and is responsible for the strategy and development of the HoM pharmaceutical and food supply program, which reaches over 10,000 health facilities in over 80 countries each year. Elizabeth joined HoM in 2011 and successfully grew Access to Medicines partnerships and donations received. Previously, she served as Program Manager in the Global Health Department of the American Cancer Society, overseeing the expansion of Global Relay for Life (GRFL) program, a community engagement and volunteerism program licensed to NGO partners in worldwide, and successfully increasing participation from seven to twenty-one countries. 

Elizabeth is a graduate of Connecticut College with a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies. She’s also completed the Thunderbird Global School of Management Social Sector Leadership Program and The George Washington University School of Business Global Social Enterprise Initiative – New Strategies Leadership Program.
