Claire brings over twenty-five years of professional experience at the intersection of U.S. Church engagement, program design, and faith-based advocacy. She is deeply committed to supporting people of faith to create meaningful, community-driven, and lasting change.

She has served in a variety of roles with the Ignatian Volunteer Corps, Catholic Relief Services, the Archdiocese of Washington’s Office of Justice and Service, and in campus ministry. Across these roles, Claire has led and supported initiatives focused on social justice, community mobilization, and faith-based engagement, working closely with diverse partners to design and implement impactful programs.

Claire also brings extensive international experience, particularly in Sudan and across the Middle East. Through both her professional and volunteer work, she has engaged directly with communities in complex and fragile contexts, supporting locally led initiatives and strengthening partnerships between faith actors and humanitarian and development organizations. Her time volunteering with Hands of Mercy in Sudan further deepened her commitment to community-centered service and provided firsthand experience working alongside vulnerable populations.

She has developed a strong understanding of the social, cultural, and religious dynamics that shape programming in these regions, enabling her to design contextually grounded and responsive interventions. Claire is especially passionate about amplifying local voices, fostering interfaith collaboration, and ensuring that faith-based approaches contribute meaningfully to peacebuilding, resilience, and sustainable development.

Her combined experience across the United States and internationally positions her as a thoughtful and strategic leader in faith-based advocacy, with a particular strength in bridging grassroots realities with broader programmatic and policy efforts.
