Volunteer Role: Environmental Sustainability & Community Engagement Volunteer

This team of youth volunteers serves with Hands of Mercy International under the Leaders Forum – Clean & Green Initiative, contributing to environmental sustainability and community-driven climate action in Pakistan.

Passionate about creating a cleaner and healthier environment, the volunteers actively engage in tree planting and awareness campaigns aimed at promoting ecological responsibility and community participation.

During their engagement, they have:

• Led and participated in plantation drives, supporting reforestation and environmental restoration efforts 
• Promoted climate awareness and environmental stewardship within local communities 
• Encouraged youth-led action, empowering young people to take ownership of sustainability initiatives 
• Supported hands-on activities such as tree planting, watering, and site preparation, ensuring long-term growth and impact 

Through collective action, these young volunteers demonstrate the power of community engagement in addressing environmental challenges. Their work contributes to Hands of Mercy International’s commitment to building sustainable, resilient, and environmentally conscious communities.
